Location: Millersville University

Blue Rock Fire Rescue was dispatched to Brooks Hall on Millersville University’s campus the morning of Jan. 15 for a medical assist. A construction worker suffered a broken ankle while working on the roof. 

With help from Tower Ladder 2 from the Lancaster City Bureau of Fire, the patient was safely removed from the roof despite cold, windy conditions. 

From dispatch to completion, the entire operation took just under an hour. Great teamwork under tough conditions.
